We have come along way since our business was established in 1947 by Jim Cotter. After operating in the Cattle Market , Eastgate Street and Northgate Street and have now relocated to Westgate Street!

There was much discussion on the location of our new shop. Oliver Smith, the manager revealed that ‘We wanted to stay in Gloucester- there’s a lot of good things happening here.’ Our aim is to change the shopping experience for our consumers making it as enjoyable as we possibly can. Relocating has been a fantastic opportunity for us, providing a much larger space has allowed us to provide additional brands for our consumers as well as modernise our image.  Despite looking at ways to modernise the business we really do enjoy meeting our customers and we always aim to provide a great experience for all. Julian, nephew of Mr Cotter expressed that’ We have a lot of loyal customers who enjoy our excellent customer service, which is something you can’t get from shopping on a computer.’

With a large range of brands in store we aim to cater for as many individuals as possible and are always there to help find the perfect fit. We know that this is sometimes not simple but with our product knowledge we know that it is possible. Sticking to our roots we still have on show the original shop sign from 1947 making sure we keep to the much loved family values.
